Forever in our hearts
Thank you for all the prayers and support.
We do not mourn as those without hope 1 Thess 4:13.
We celebrate a life well lived, a race well finished 2 Tim 4:7.
A Tribute to my Darling wife
Georgina Patience Alabi, I fondly called her Gspicy or Gee was not just a wife. She was a friend, lover, adviser and financial manager. Before I met her, I was always broke. She upgraded my financial status and thought me how to save and invest. She knew what submission was as a wife and practiced marriage like Abigail. She covers my folly and flaws. Gina prioritised me above anything in her life. Trusted me with all her being cos she knows I got her back always. Never a time she withheld any information about her dealings from me. She was my match made from heaven. She loved me till her last conscious minute.
Gspicy’s resourcefulness was top notched. She had a beautiful way of turning ordinary things into something special and making people around her feel loved like Dorcas(Tabitha) in the bible. Those of you who have visited my home would attest to this. Every decoration at our home was crafted by Gerogina.
Georgina reflects true motherhood. She was peace-loving yet strict and objective woman who always stood for what was right. She had a generous heart and was ever ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She mirrored all the attributes of the virtuous woman described in Prov 31:10-31-Business & industry, family care, charity, wisdom & speech and fear of the lord. Her love for family was unmatched; first she knows the place of her husband then the kids. She knew submission as taught in the scriptures.
In the last few weeks before her demise, her thought was majorly preoccupied with her kids school activities. She would wake up at the middle of the night and try to rush to the kitchen to prepare her kids for school. I will have to even remind her that it is weekend or it is not yet morning. That was how much she was a mother hen to our kids. She kept talking of her kids studies even in pains and agony.
Gspicy, you were strong on the inside. You fought for me and the boys. You fought for your mom and your siblings. You won My White haired woman and strutted yourself to heaven.
Gina lived a life of impact, faith, and service. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew her. I will always cherish the conversations we shared and the countless memories that now live in my heart forever. Today, we mourn your loss, but we also celebrate a life beautifully lived. Thank you for being a wonderful wife, mother and sister and friend.
Goodbye Gspicy and continue to watch over us.
“Well done, good and faithful servant” – Matthew 25:23
